Laurel's womens ministry provides many ways to connect with each other.

Ladies' Days

Special days of interest are planned periodically during the year to bring ladies together not only to enrich our relationship with God but also to enhance our relationships with each other.

Ladies' Retreat

The purpose of the Ladies' Retreat is to enrich our spiritual lives by retreating to the beauty and serenity of God's creation.  Food and fellowship are combined with presentations from one or more speakers.

Secret Sisters

Secret Sisters is an organized program that begins in January and ends with a Christmas party where participants reveal their identity.  Throughout the year, participants are able to encourage and uplift their sister with cards and other small tokens of love and expressions of  "thinking of you."  A Valentine's Day, Easter, Christmas in July, Halloween and Christmas party are scheduled.

Tuesday Morning Ladies' Bible Class

Tuesday morning Bible class for women at Laurel meets from September through early May.  The class is open to all ages, and a staffed nursery is provided each week, free of charge, to those attending the class.  The class is planned, taught, and conducted by Laurel women and offers an in-depth study of the scriptures while also providing the opportunity for building relationships among women of the congregation.  The class members enjoy a covered dish luncheon once amonth, and they also work on service projects on Tuesday per month.

Wednesday Evening Women's Class

This ministry is an organized group of ladies that meet weekly throughout the year at 7:00 p.m.  This is a class of sharing experiences and mentoring one another through the various stages of life.  Format includes panel discussions, speakers, and a period of fellowship at the end of class.
